Online Casino Craps

Craps is thought to be a complicated casino game due to the specific terminology that is associated with the game. Once you have mastered the terminology, however, craps is far more understandable.

Beginning a Game of Online Craps

Before a game of craps can begin, all players must place their "pass line bets." The first dice roll is known as the come out roll. If the come out roll is a 7 or 11, the pass line bet wins. If the come out roll is a 2, 3 or 12, the pass line bet loses.

The Point Number

If any of the remaining numbers are rolled on the come out roll (4, 5, 6, 8, 9 or 10), this number becomes known as the point number. The dice continues to roll until either the point number is rolled or the number 7 is rolled. If the point number is rolled before the 7, all pass line bets win. If the 7 is rolled before the point number, all pass line bets lose.

A Few Alternative Bets in Online Casino Craps

  • Don't Pass Line Bet – This is the opposite of the pass line bet with the player losing if a 7 or 11 is rolled and winning if a 2 or 3 is rolled.
  • Don't Come Bet – this is the opposite of the come bet with the player losing if a 7 or 11 is rolled and winning if a 2 or 3 is rolled after the point has been established.
  • Place Bets – After the point has been determined you can bet on a specific number. You win if the number is rolled before a 7 and lose if a 7 is rolled first.
  • Field Bets – These are placed on specific rolls. If a 2, 3, 4, 9, 10, 11 or 12 is rolled you win and if a 5, 6, 7 or 8 is rolled you lose.
